Some disappointing news came out from the Warriors today. In a press release announcing the team had signed first-round draft pick Ekpe Udoh, it was also revealed that the power forward will miss the NBA summer league in Las Vegas because of a wrist injury.

Udoh suffered the injury to his left wrist during a supervised workout on July 4 at the team’s practice facility. He’ll have the wrist evaluated this week after which the exact nature of the injury and a rehabilitation plan will be determined.

This is disappointing because watching Udoh in summer league was something I was looking forward to. Let’s just hope the injury isn’t too severe and he’ll be ready to go when training camp starts.
