The Warriors showed they still have something left to prove tonight.

Eight players in double figures. Three players scored 20 or more points (including a season high 31 from Kelenna Azubuike). The Warriors shot the ball like they were possessed (57.1 percent from the field, 52.2 from distance, 78.9 from the free-throw line). Fifteen assists from Stephen Jackson. Strong performances from some of the Warriors’ talented youths (Anthony Randolph 23 points, Anthony Morrow 20). Some strong defense. Most importantly, the Warriors took care of business at home in a game they should win.

It doesn’t change much at this point. The Warriors still have issues, are still 2-4, and still have a brutal road trip coming up. Things could easily go right back to ugly. But tonight, it was nice to see the Warriors play well.

Here’s the box score.

Here’s the game story from the Associated Press.

Here’s the play-by-play (one you might actually enjoy reading).

I’ll have more analysis later.
