Bill Simmons, ESPN’s “Sports Guy,” is having some fun putting together three- and four-team trade ideas centered around Chris Paul and is posted them to his twitter feed.

First of all, Simmons has to have the funnest job in the world. Second of all, one of his trade proposals involves the Warriors. What would you think if the Warriors could get Yao Ming (and Darius Songaila) and all they had to send away were the following players: Andris Biedrins, Vladimir Radmanovic and Brandan Wright?

Could you get behind that deal? The only reservation I have is the uncertainty surrounding Yao’s future. He missed all of last season to injury. Will he come back the same player he was before the injury? I think the trade would hinge on the Warriors doctors’ recommendation. If Yao looked like he would make a full recovery, I think I would do that deal in a heartbeat. Imagine a starting lineup of Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright, David Lee and Yao Ming. I’m a fan.

I want to make it very clear that this is a trade idea only. This isn’t even a rumor. But it’s fun to think about the possibilities, even though it’s unlikely a trade like this would ever happen.

Here’s the breakdown of the pieces involved in the trade:

To Hornets

Roy Hibbert
Shane Battier
Jordan Hill
Mike Dunleavy
Brandan Wright
T.J. Ford

To Rockets

Emeka Okafor
James Posey
Chris Paul
Andris Biedrins

To Pacers

Aaron Brooks
Jared Jefferies
Vladimir Radmanovic

To Warriors

Yao Ming
Darius Songaila
