For the second time since reserves for the Western Conference All-Star team were announced, Warriors guard Monta Ellis has been passed over to join the team as an injury replacement.

The Warriors announced two moves today. First, they signed forward Anthony Tolliver for the remainder of the season. This move isn’t entirely unexpected because Tolliver hasn’t been terrible since being called up from the Developmental League in mid-January. He is averaging 7.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game. Concerns about Tolliver? He’s supposed to be a great shooter from everywhere on the court, but he’s shooting only …

The selections aren’t supposed to be announced until later this afternoon, but Yahoo! Sports has cut in line, bumping aside TNT, to reveal the list of All-Star reserves.
Warriors guard Monta Ellis was not among those selected.
The West reserves include Hornets guard Chris Paul, Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy, Jazz guard Deron Williams, Thunder forward Kevin Durant, Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki, Lakers forward Pau Gasol and Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph.

Warriors rookie point guard Stephen Curry was selected by the NBA’s assistant coaches to participate in the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge. The game, which pits the Association’s best rookies against its best sophomores, will be Friday, Feb. 12 in Dallas during NBA All-Star Weekend.

By now, most of you should have heard the latest trade rumor involving the Golden State Warriors. According to a report by A. At least for one game, some people can stop wondering if the Warriors are better off without Monta Ellis in the lineup.
