Stephen Curry responded to finishing second in the Rookie of the Year voting with a statement released from his hometown of Charlotte:

“Congrats to Tyreke for winning Rookie of the Year. There’s no doubt he deserves it. For me to have been in the conversation all year and to finish second means a lot and is a great start to hopefully a successful career.”

That’s good perspective from Curry. He had a great rookie season, but he needs to work hard this offseason and come back even better for his sophomore season. I wouldn’t expect anything less from him.
