I’ve been swamped today and haven’t had time to put anything up about the Warriors. But, I watched this video the other day and wanted to share it here. I love defense in the NBA. For me, defense is what separates the NBA from college basketball. To be an elite defensive player, it requires an unparalleled level of athleticism and ability, combined with a maniacal desire to destroy your opponent. When an NBA player comes along that really puts his heart into defense, there’s nothing more inspiring to watch. That’s why I love the NBA playoffs, because everybody defends in the playoffs. It’s what makes the game beautiful to watch.

With Scottie Pippen entering the Hall of Fame this weekend, watch these two videos. They’re worth your time. Would that the Warriors had a player who values defense like Pippen did.
