There is good news today about Stephen Curry.

The Warriors’ star point guard has received full medical clearance to resume all basketball-related activities.  The clearance was granted following an examination on his surgically repaired right ankle earlier today.  The examination was conducted by Dr. Richard Ferkel in Van Nuys.

Full clearance means Curry, who began limited basketball-related activities in July, will be allowed to compete in all practice or game activities, including five-on-five scrimmages.

The Warriors open training camp Tuesday, Oct. 2 with their first preseason game slated for Sunday, Oct. 7 against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team’s first regular season game is Wednesday, Oct. 31 at Phoenix.
