According to a tweet yesterday by ESPN The Magazine’s Ric Bucher, the Warriors might be up for sale. Here’s the complete tweet:

Suddenly, the rumor about the Warriors trying to deal Ellis for Ray Allen and his expiring contract makes more sense. As do the rumors that the Warriors are again interested in Amar’e Stoudemire (and his expiring contract). If this is true, expect a lot of rumors in the next few weeks about Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Corey Maggette.

Whether any of this is true or not, well, I guess we’ll find out by February 18 (the trade deadline).
