Golden State Warriors guard/forward Kelenna Azubuike will undergo surgery tomorrow (Wednesday, November 18) to repair a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, the team announced today. The procedure will be performed in Phoenix, AZ, by Dr. Tom Carter. Azubuike, who suffered the injury during the team’s game at Milwaukee on Saturday, November 14, underwent an MRI exam in the Bay Area yesterday that confirmed the diagnosis.

Azubuike, 25, has appeared in nine games this season (seven starts), and is averaging 13.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.00 block in 25.7 minutes per contest.
